Welcome to the Berger Foundation Iceplex Adult Hockey League!

Whether you are new to the sport and looking to play hockey for the first time or have been playing for years and looking to play in an Elite level hockey league, Berger Foundation Iceplex has a hockey program or hockey league for you.

(CVHL) COACHELLA VALLEY ADULT HOCKEY SUMMER 2024

Summer Season April 22, 2024-October 13, 2024 – A, B, C, Open Divisions

A LEAGUE

Team fee $5,900 or Individual $599/season (Payment plans available only for teams wanting to pay individually not a team fee.)

Competitive league for advanced players

21 games | 20 regular + 1 playoff game minimum

All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs in the summer

Most players played Travel, HS Varsity, Junior B/C, ACHA D2/D3. Stats are recorded and posted on gamesheetinc.com

Game Slots are Monday nights at 7:45pm and 9:15pm.

B LEAGUE

Team fee $5,900 or Individual $599/ season. (Payment plans available only for teams wanting to pay individually not a team fee.)

Recreational league for intermediate players.

21 games | 20 regular + 1 playoff game minimum

All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs in summer

Designed for Novice players without prior competitive hockey experience. Stats are recorded and posted on gamesheetinc.com

Game Slots are Wednesday nights at 7:30pm or 9:00pm.

C LEAGUE

Team fee $5,900 or Individual $599/ season. (Payment plans available only for teams wanting to pay individually not a team fee.)

Recreational league for BEGINNER players (Recommend finishing Learn to Play 1 prior)

21 games | 20 regular + 1 playoff game minimum

All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs

Designed for players new to hockey or older players (50+) looking for a structured format. Stats are recorded and posted on gamesheetinc.com

Game Slots are Tuesdays at 9:00pm and Wednesday at 9:00pm.

OPEN DRAFT LEAGUE

Individual $300/ season. (Payment plans available)

**ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PLAYERS ENROLLED IN THE CURRENT ADULT LEAGUE SEASON**

Recreational league for players interested in skating more than once a week. Roster spots will be limited to 40 players and 4 goalies.  There will be an active sub drop in list ($15 a game) for when teams are short and for players looking to part time play.

20 games

No playoffs.

Players will sign up as a free agent and will be assigned to a team for the season.  Stats will not be recorded for this league, and there will be 1 referee.

Game Slots are Sundays at 6:15pm.

League Details

All leagues are non-checking and co-ed

Free agents (new players and players not currently on a League team) should sign up under either B or C divisions and select free agent team.  This is completely free, payments won’t be issued for free agents until assigned to a team, which the league will help to assign you to a team in need.

Sub Fee/Free Agent Registration

$45 per game

7 games played required to qualify for playoff roster. Restrictions apply, no refunds, non-transferable between leagues/seasons. This is a priority game by game Sub list while waiting to be placed on a team.

All players must be 18 years of age or older. It is required to purchase a 2023-2024 USA Hockey membership. The cost for the annual USA Hockey Adult membership is $56 ($46 to USAH/$10 to AAHA). This membership fee is not included in your league fees – Register here

Main locker rooms are Co-ed for adults. Female-only locker room is available upon request.

League hires certified on-ice officials. CVHL is operating under California Amateur Hockey Association guidelines.

CVHL always needs new referees – if you are a hockey player who cares about the game and wants a great part-time job, attend a Level 1 Seminar.

League utilizes arena employees as off-ice officials (scorekeepers). If interested, please email Jeff Larson at [email protected] 

Skate Sharpening

Need a sharper edge on your blades? Stop by the Welcome Center to drop off your own hockey skates to be sharpened for just $15. We cannot guarantee immediate turnaround for sharpening.
