Adult / Teen Skating Lessons

This curriculum is designed for the beginner skater. It will promote physical fitness and improve balance and coordination while teaching proper skating techniques. Skaters will progress at an individual rate while being challenged and motivated. This is an exciting 7-week program for people who look to skating as an enjoyable part of a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Adult & Teen Beginner
Tuesday’s, 7:45AM – 8:15AM or 6:25PM – 6:55PM (Starts Aug. 29)
Saturday’s, 11:30AM-12PM (Starts Sept. 9)
For skaters who are new to the ice and/or have not had previous formal skating instruction. Basic forward skating and stopping skills are taught along with balancing on one and two feet.
This class teaches the foundation upon which more complex skating skills are developed. This class includes adult/teen level 1 and 2.
Adult & Teen Workshop
Tuesday’s, 8:15AM – 8:45AM or 6:25PM – 6:55PM (Starting Aug. 29)
Saturday’s, 11:30AM – 12PM (Starting Sept. 9)
For skaters age 13 and above. Must have passed the Beginning Adult Class. In this workshop, skaters will work on skills specific to their current level and/or ability including levels 3 – 6.
Classes will be divided into similar skill levels as needed.
