Welcome to the Berger Foundation Iceplex Adult Hockey League
Whether you are new to the sport and looking to play hockey for the first time or have been playing for years and looking to play in an Elite level hockey league, Berger Foundation Iceplex has a hockey program or hockey league for you.
(CVHL) COACHELLA VALLEY ADULT HOCKEY WINTER - 2025
Winter Season October 15 – March 30, 2026 – with Open, North, South & Beginner divisions
Season Sign Up:
New to 2025 all players will be responsible for signing up for the league before it begins on October 15th.
We have removed team fees and instituted a pay to play structure. If you would like to play as a full-time player for the Winter 2025, please click the link below to register.
If you are interested in being a part time player, please read the box to the right of this titled Part Time Player List –> You are required to be registered under USA Hockey to be eligible.

Read below to help understand which level to sign up for as well.
All goaltenders should use code GOALIE at checkout for a separate signup.
Part-Time Player List:
Below is a link to sign up as a substitute player, as well as a section to pick which division you would prefer to participate in. Subs will need to be approved before participating; contact: [email protected].
Substitute players are required to pay $45 at the door and have a current USA Hockey membership ready at check-in.
For any player interested in joining a team full time, but the season has already started, please reach out to [email protected] for further assistance.
Looking for more Ice time?
Players who are eligible for multiple divisions can sign up to be a sub in each league they are qualified for. The sub fee is cheaper for any player who is currently a full time player on a team. $30 per game for fully registered players. (Welcome Center Specialists will need to confirm before granting the discount)
League Details
ALL LEAGUES ARE NON-CHECKING AND CO-ED.
Open Division
Individual $525 per season.
- Early bird special available for $25 off until October 8, 2025.
- A payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
Open division is a competitive league for advanced players.
There are 20 games per season. 19 regular + 1 playoff game at a minimum.
All teams qualify for single-elimination playoffs in March.
Highest level offered. Most players will have played: travel, high school varsity, Junior B/C and/or ACHA D2/D3.

Game Slots can be Sunday, Monday or Wednesday night.
North Division
Individual $525 per season.
- Early bird special available for $25 off until October 8, 2025.
- A payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
North Division is a recreational league for intermediate players.
There are 20 games per season. 19 regular + 1 playoff game at a minimum.
All teams qualify for single-elimination playoffs in March.
North is designed for competitive players with less experience or older in age. Intermediate in skill level but eager to compete.

Game Slots can be Sunday, Monday or Wednesday night.
South Division
Individual $525 per season.
- Early bird special available for $25 off until October 8, 2025.
- A payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
Recreational league for intermediate to beginner players.
There are 20 games per season. 19 regular + 1 playoff game at a minimum.
All teams qualify for single-elimination playoffs in March.
South is designed for Novice players without prior competitive hockey experience and typically your 60+ players would fall in this category. Players have the tools to be successful but haven’t mastered them all or are lacking others.

Game Slots can be Sunday, Monday or Wednesday night.
Beginner Division
Individual $525 per season.
- Early bird special available for $25 off until October 8, 2025.
- A payment plan is available for $575 a season and will be split into 4 payments.
Recreational league for BEGINNER players (Recommend finishing Learn to Play 1 prior)
There are 20 games per season. 19 regular + 1 playoff game at a minimum.
All teams qualify for single elimination playoffs in the summer.
Designed for players new to hockey and have played for less than a year or two. Pride try Hockey and Adult Learn To Play funnel into this division.

All leagues are non-checking and co-ed
USA HOCKEY
All players must be 18 years of age or older. It is required to purchase a USA Hockey membership. This membership fee is not included in your league fees – Register here

LOCKER ROOMS
Main locker rooms are Co-ed for adults. Female-only locker room is available upon request.
REFEREES & SCOREKEEPERS
League hires certified on-ice officials. CVHL is operating under California Amateur Hockey Association guidelines.
CVHL always needs new referees – if you are a hockey player who cares about the game and wants a great part-time job, attend a Level 1 Seminar.
League utilizes arena employees as off-ice officials (scorekeepers). If interested, please email Brandon Mullin at [email protected]
Skate Sharpening
Need a sharper edge on your blades? Stop by the Welcome Center to drop off your own hockey skates to be sharpened for just $15. We cannot guarantee immediate turnaround for sharpening.
